Panzi Foundation invites legally registered and qualified engineering consultancies and firms to submit a technical and financial proposal for the studies needed to design an improved, resilient water system at the Mulamba Hospital, located in Madaka village, Mulamba grouping, Walungu territory, South Kivu Province.
The project aims to meet the water needs of staff and patients, strengthen infection prevention and control, and improve water access for more than 150 households, around 900 people, in the surrounding community.
Scope of work
The consultant will carry out:
- hydrogeological and geophysical, topographic, hydraulic and targeted geotechnical studies
- an assessment of existing water facilities and water quality analysis
- preliminary and detailed design
- an environmental and social impact assessment
Deliverables include plans, design calculations, technical specifications, bills of quantities, reference unit prices, a cost estimate, a works schedule and a sustainability plan.
Submission deadline
Proposals are due by 29 September 2026 at 1:30 p.m. Bukavu time, either:
- in person at Avenue Jean Miruho 3, No. 024, Panzi neighbourhood, Ibanda commune, Bukavu, DR Congo; or
